DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) via CAN communication.

Note

When replacing the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), perform zero point calibration and store system information.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR INSTALLATION


    1. Check that the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) has been installed properly.

      OK
      The acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) is tightened to the specified torque.
      The acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) is not installed in a tilted position.

      Note

      Check the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) signal after replacement.
