FRONT ACCELERATION SENSOR(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

    Click here

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Fold back the floor carpet.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and front acceleration sensor assembly.

      Note


      • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor.

      • Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

  5. REMOVE ACCELERATION SENSOR BRACKET

      Detach the clip and disconnect the connector holder.

    2. B002DYF

      Remove the bolt, nut and acceleration sensor bracket.
