DESCRIPTION
The absorber control ECU (front acceleration sensor RH) receives signals from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), steering angle sensor (spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly), yaw rate and acceleration sensor, transmission control ECU and ECM via CAN communication.
When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system first.

Note
Before performing troubleshooting, inspect the connectors of related circuits.
If DTC C1782 (Power Source Voltage Malfunction) is output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for C1782 first.
Before replacing the absorber control ECU (front acceleration sensor RH), perform all of the following:
Symptom simulation.
DTC inspection.
GTS inspection.
If no malfunctions are found in other areas, replace the absorber control ECU (front acceleration sensor RH).
After replacing the absorber control ECU (front acceleration sensor RH) with a new one, perform registration of vehicle identification information.
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTC
Clear the DTCs.
Turn the engine switch off.
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (19 mph) or more for 10 seconds or more.
Check for DTCs.

Tech Tips
If a CAN communication malfunction DTC and a related sensor malfunction DTC are output at the same time, the CAN communication malfunction must be repaired before troubleshooting the sensor.
