DESCRIPTION

The torque vectoring differential ECU assembly has a low temperature zone internal map and a high temperature zone internal map. The signal from the temperature sensor determines which map is selected. If a malfunction of the ECU internal circuit is detected by comparing signals sent by the temperature sensor to the low temperature zone internal map and high temperature zone internal map, a DTC is stored.

Diagnosis Condition:


  • IG power supply is 10 V or more and DTCs C2A12 and C1A13 are not stored.

Abnormal condition:


  • ECU internal circuit malfunction

Malfunction Time:


  • 4 seconds or more

Trip logic:


  • 1 trip detection logic

 Torque vectoring differential ECU assembly

  • Master Warning Light: Comes on

  • Multi-information Display Error Message: Comes on
C2A15 LH Oil Temperature Sensor Range OFF

Diagnosis Condition:


  • IG power supply is 10 V or more and DTCs C2A17 and C1A18 are not stored.

Abnormal condition:


  • ECU internal circuit malfunction

Malfunction Time:


  • 4 seconds or more

Trip logic:


  • 1 trip detection logic

 Torque vectoring differential ECU assembly

  • Master Warning Light: Comes on

  • Multi-information Display Error Message: Comes on

Tech Tips

If the torque vectoring differential ECU assembly has been replaced, perform "All Learning".

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (TVD)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / TVD / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check for DTCs.


      Chassis > TVD > Trouble Codes
      Result
      Result Proceed to
      DTC C2A10 or DTC C2A15 only is output. A
      DTCs other than DTC C2A10 and DTC C2A15 are output. B
      DTCs are not output. C

      1. Turn the engine switch off.
