DESCRIPTION
If the TVD motor angle does not change when current is applied to the TVD motor or if current flow is detected during current cut, a malfunction is determined and a DTC is stored.

Tech Tips
If the torque vectoring differential ECU assembly has been replaced, perform "All Learning".
If the torque transfer module motor sub-assembly has been replaced or removed and installed, perform "Motor Exchange Learning".
If the torque vectoring differential FDU (Final Drive Unit) has been replaced, perform "ASSY Exchange Learning".
PROCEDURE
CHECK DTC OUTPUT (TVD)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / TVD / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / TVD / Trouble Codes.
Read the freeze frame data of DTC C2A22.

READ VALUE USING GTS (RH REAL MOTOR ANGLE VALUE)
Remove the torque vectoring differential FDU (Final Drive Unit).
Remove the torque transfer module motor sub-assembly (RH side).
Connect the wire harness to the V5 connector of the removed torque transfer module motor sub-assembly (RH side).
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Note
Do not start the engine with the torque transfer module motor sub-assembly disconnected from the torque transfer module as the gears of the torque transfer module motor sub-assembly may start moving.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / TVD / Data List / RH Real Motor Angle Value.
Read "RH Real Motor Angle Value" in the Data List while rotating the gears of the torque transfer module motor sub-assembly.
