KICK-DOWN SWITCH(for RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD


    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

      *a Clamp *b Hook
      B002CL1 Fastener B002C8N Remove in this Direction

    2. Disengage the clamp, hook and each fastener, and turn back the front floor carpet assembly.

      Disengage the 2 clips to remove the No. 2 dash panel insulator pad from the vehicle body.

  6. REMOVE KICK DOWN SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the kick down switch assembly connector.

    2. B002ESG

      Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and kick down switch assembly from the vehicle body.
