KICK-DOWN SWITCH(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD


    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

      *a Clamp *b Hook
      B002CL1 Fastener B002C8N Remove in this Direction

    2. Disengage the clamp, hook and each fastener, and turn back the front floor carpet assembly.

      Disengage the 2 clips to remove the No. 2 dash panel insulator pad from the vehicle body.

  6. REMOVE KICK DOWN SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the clamp to separate the wire harness.

    2. Disconnect the kick down switch assembly connector.

    3. B002CYW

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and kick down switch assembly from the vehicle body.
