ROCKER PANEL MOULDING REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PAD

    Tech Tips


    • Using the same procedure, remove every rocker panel moulding pad.

    • When installing the rocker panel moulding pad, heat the rocker panel moulding using a heat light.

    Heating Temperature
    Item Temperature
    Rocker Panel Moulding 20 to 30°C (68 to 86)

    Note

    Do not heat the rocker panel moulding excessively.


    1. Clean the rocker panel moulding surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the rocker panel moulding surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the rocker panel moulding.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Using a heat light, heat the rocker panel moulding.

    3. Remove the release paper from a new rocker panel moulding pad.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install the rocker panel moulding pads.

      Tech Tips

      Install a rocker panel moulding pad along the line on the rocker panel moulding.
