The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during the rear door belt moulding removal/installation are shown below.

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    1. Disconnect the rear door weatherstrip until the screw of the door window rear lower sub-assembly is visible.

      Apply protective tape around the rear door belt moulding assembly.

      Disengage the claws to remove the rear door belt moulding assembly as shown in the illustration.
