PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  2. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  3. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  4. REMOVE REAR SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  5. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  6. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  7. REMOVE NO. 6 FLOOR WIRE


    1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System and Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 6 floor wire.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

    2. w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 6 floor wire.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

  8. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A005NZB

      Remove the 2 screws and rear fog light.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER LH


    1. A005NDQ

      Disengage the hook to remove the rear bumper upper cover LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

      B0048R7 Remove in this Direction

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

      B0048R7 Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claws to remove the rear bumper plate LH as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER MOULDING RETAINER LH (w/ Rear Bumper Moulding Retainer)

      *1 Outside Moulding Retainer

      Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. Remove the outside moulding retainer.

    3. Remove the No. 2 rear bumper side retainer LH and rear bumper moulding retainer LH with No. 1 rear spoiler protector.

      Remove the No. 1 rear spoiler protector from the rear bumper moulding retainer LH.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER MOULDING RETAINER RH (w/ Rear Bumper Moulding Retainer)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE


    1. A005NQS

      Disengage the claws.

    2. A005NRA

      Disengage the hook to remove the No. 1 rear bumper plate.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD

      Remove the rear bumper pad.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

      Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE STAY LH

      Remove the clip and screw.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the rear bumper side stay LH as shown in the illustration.

  22. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE STAY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER GUARD


    1. Remove the 2 clips and 6 outside moulding retainers.

    2. Disengage the claws and guides to remove the rear bumper center guard.

  24. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      B0048O3 Remove in this Direction (2)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH as shown in the illustration.

  25. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH

      Remove the claws and rear combination light cover LH as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Disengage the pin and guide as shown in the illustration.

    4. A005MO4

      Disconnect the connector to remove the combination light assembly LH.

      Disengage the guides to remove the rear bumper upper retainer LH as shown in the illustration.

  27. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  28. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Type A)

      Remove the 8 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  29. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Type B)

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly.
