FRONT PASSENGER SIDE POWER WINDOW SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A001O9HC08
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        5 (UP) - 7 (GND) Auto up or up position Below 100 Ω
        4 (DOWN) - 7 (GND) Auto down or down position Below 100 Ω
        8 (AUTO) - 7 (GND) Auto up or auto down position Below 100 Ω
        5 (UP) - 7 (GND) Off 10 kΩ or higher
        4 (DOWN) - 7 (GND) Off 10 kΩ or higher
        8 (AUTO) - 7 (GND) Off 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.

    2. Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the power window regulator switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Auxiliary battery Connection Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.
