BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the battery state sensor assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A001QH4

      Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the wire harness from the battery current sensor holder.

    2. Disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.

    3. A001S3B

      Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from the battery state sensor assembly.

      Note

      When disconnecting the engine wire, some systems need to be initialized after the engine wire is reconnected.

      Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the auxiliary battery.

    5. A001NZ5

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery current sensor holder.
