DESCRIPTION

The parking brake ECU assembly receives vehicle tilt angle information from the deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via CAN communication.

One of following conditions is met:


  1. An error signal is sent from deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) for approximately 0.3 seconds.

  2. While the deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) signal is judged to be stuck, starting off and stopping of vehicle occurs 16 times.

  3. Comparison error between deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) 1 and deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) 2 output values occurs for 60 seconds or more.

DTC will be output when conditions for either of the patterns in the table above are met.

Note

When replacing the deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), perform initialization and calibration of the linear solenoid valve.

    1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. Turn the power switch off.

    3. Check for DTCs.
