DRIVING SUPPORT BUZZER(for RHD) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT DRIVING SUPPORT BUZZER (PRE-COLLISION CITY BUZZER)


    1. Make sure that there is no looseness in the locking part and connecting part of the connector.

    2. Disconnect the driving support buzzer (pre-collision city buzzer) connector.

    3. Check the connector and terminals for deformation and corrosion.

      OK
      No deformation or corrosion.
    4. A001S8W

      Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1, and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 of the driving support buzzer (pre-collision city buzzer), and check that the buzzer sounds.

      OK
      The pre-collision city buzzer sounds.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the driving support buzzer (pre-collision city buzzer).
