DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0126 Lost Communication With Steering Angle Sensor Module 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the steering angle sensor and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0131 Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module When the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph) or more 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the power steering ECU assembly and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0142 Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B" 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0235 Lost Communication with Cruise Control Front Distance Range Sensor When the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph) or more 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds.

U0293 Lost Communication with HV ECU When the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph) or more 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Clear DTCs

    6. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 1 minute or more.

      2. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 1 km/h or 1 mph or more for 5 seconds or more.

    7. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.

    8. Check the DTCs.
