DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a communication error occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h or 1 mph or more, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly)

  • Forward recognition camera
U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module While the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

  • Skid control ECU (Brake booster with master cylinder assembly)

  • Forward recognition camera

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (ROAD SIGN ASSIST SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Road Sign Assist > Clear DTCs

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    3. Check for DTCs.
