FLOW SHUTTING VALVE REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during shutting valve (water valve) removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FLOW SHUTTING VALVE (WATER VALVE)

    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness from the water outlet.

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 radiator hose.

    4. A005O36

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 9 water by-pass hose.

    5. A005ND2

      Remove the 2 nuts.

    6. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 10 water by-pass hose and remove the water outlet with the flow shutting valve (water valve).

    7. Remove the water outlet gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

    8. Secure the water outlet in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not damage the water outlet.

      Remove the 2 bolts and flow shutting valve (water valve).

      Remove the gasket from the flow shutting valve (water valve).
