PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

    Tech Tips

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump.

    1. A001OTFC05
      *1 O-ring
      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.

    2. Engage the 3 claws to install the fuel pump to the No. 1 fuel suction support.

    3. Engage the 4 claws to install the fuel pump to the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly.

      Note


      • Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.

      • Engage the claws securely.

      Align the protrusion of the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly with the installation hole of the plate sub-assembly and then slide the plate sub-assembly to install the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly.

      Engage the 2 clamps and install the fuel pump harness to the fuel suction tube with pump and gauge assembly.

    6. Connect the fuel pump harness 2 connectors.
