The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during knock sensor removal/installation are shown below.

  • Replacement of throttle body assembly

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

  2. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR

      Disconnect the knock sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and knock sensor from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      Note

      If the knock sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
