NAVIGATION SYSTEM Switch Operation of Remote Touch not Accepted

PROCEDURE

1. START DIAGNOSTIC MODE

   
   

   1. Enter diagnostic mode and check if the "Service Menu" screen is displayed.

      Click here

      OK
      The "Service Menu" is displayed.

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

2. CHECK PANEL SWITCH (OPERATION CHECK)

   
   

   1. 

      Enter the "Panel&Steering Switch Check Mode" screen. Refer to Check Panel & Steering Switch in Operation Check.

      Click here

   2. Operate the abnormal switch and check if the switch status is correctly displayed.

      OK
      The switch status is correctly displayed as operated.

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

3. REMOTE TOUCH SELF CHECK (SWITCH OPERATION CHECK)

   
   

   1. Activate self check mode.

      Click here

   2. 

      *a	Switch Illumination
      *b	Switch Knob

      Check switch operation.

      
      

      1. Move the remote touch switch knob to the lower left.

      2. Check that the "MENU", "HOME", up, down and back switches illuminate when each switch on the remote touch is pressed.

         Result
         Result Proceed to Self check mode cannot be activated. A Some switches do not turn on the "MENU", "HOME", up, down and back switch illumination when they are pressed. All switches turn on the "MENU", "HOME", up, down and back switch illumination when they are pressed. B

4. REPLACE REMOTE OPERATION SWITCH

   
   

   1. Replace the remote operation switch with a new or known good one.

      Click here

   2. Check that each remote touch switch operates normally.

      Each switch operates normally.
