RADIO ANTENNA CORD INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side with Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna)


    1. for Standard:


      1. Engage the 4 clamps.

      2. Install the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly with the bolt.

      3. Connect the 2 connectors.

    2. for Glass Roof:


      1. Engage the 5 clamps.

      2. Install the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly with the bolt.

      3. Connect the 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side with Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna)


    1. Engage the 5 clamps to install the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. w/o Roof Antenna:


      1. Connect the connector.

    3. w/ Roof Antenna:


      1. Connect the 2 connectors.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna)


    1. for Standard:


      1. Engage the 4 clamps to install the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      2. Connect the connector.

    2. for Glass Roof:


      1. Engage the 5 clamps to install the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      2. Connect the connector.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Peel off the release paper from the double-sided tape.

    3. Align the marking tape on the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly with the vehicle front end on the roof headlining assembly. (A)

    4. Engage the 2 guides. (B)

    5. Align the marking tape on the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly with the vehicle rear end on the roof headlining assembly. (C)

    6. Align the marking tape on the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly with the adjustment area on the roof headlining assembly. (D)

    7. Attach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly with the double-sided tape.

      Note


      • Securely attach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      • If any of the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly is left loose, this will cause abnormal noise.

      • Make sure to attach the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly without leaving any of it loose.

      Tech Tips

      Secure the extra length of the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly in the adjustment area.

    8. Apply adhesive tape by aligning it with the markings on the roof headlining assembly as shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. w/o Navigation System:


      1. Engage the 6 clamps to install the antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. w/ Navigation System:


      1. Engage the 7 clamps to install the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  7. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Engage the 7 clamps to install the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
