  1. CONFIRM MODEL


    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY, TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER, SPEAKERS - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H88 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H101 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Disconnect the H62 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.

    4. Disconnect the L6 and M5 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.

    5. Disconnect the J2 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

    6. Disconnect the Q16 stereo component speaker assembly connector.

    7. Disconnect the N6 and O6 rear speaker assembly connectors.

    8. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      H88-13 (FR+) or H101-2 (SPI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H88-28 (FR-) or H101-3 (SPI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER, SPEAKERS - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H101 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the H63 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance between the telematics transceiver and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY, SPEAKERS - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H88 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H63 and H62 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    3. Disconnect the L6 and M5 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.

    4. Disconnect the N6 and O6 rear speaker assembly connectors.

    5. Disconnect the Q16 stereo component speaker assembly connector.

    6. Disconnect the J2 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

    7. Measure the resistance between the stereo component amplifier assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
