  1. CHECK COOLING FAN MOTOR

      Check the code mark on the fan shroud.

      Component without harness connected

      (Cooling Fan Motor)

      Check that the motor operates smoothly when the battery is connected to the fan motor connector.

    3. Measure the current while the motor is operating.

      Standard Current
      Item Condition Specified Condition

      Cooling fan motor

      (Code Mark I and V)

      		 Battery voltage applied at 20°C (68°F) 5.6 to 11.6 A

      Cooling fan motor

      (Code Mark W)

      		 Battery voltage applied at 20°C (68°F) 10.6 to 16.6 A

      If the result is not as specified, replace the cooling fan motor.

  2. CHECK NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR
