INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE(for Intake Air Control System) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE (for Intake Air Control System)


    1. Remove the inlet No. 2 air cleaner Click here.

    2. A01W4O8

      Using a vacuum pump, apply 27 kPa (200 mmHg, 7.85 in.Hg) or higher of vacuum to the diaphragm chamber and check that the valve moves.

    3. Wait 1 minute and check that the needle of the vacuum pump does not lower.

      If the operation is not as specified, replace the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

    4. Install the inlet No. 2 air cleaner Click here.
