CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CRANK POSITION SENSOR


    1. Clean and degrease the threads of the bolt for the crank position sensor.

      *1 O-ring

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring on the crank position sensor.

    3. Install the crank position sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or does not move out of place during installation.

    4. Connect the crank position sensor connector.
