CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Start the engine.

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Control the Intake VVT OCV Duty Ratio Bank 1 / Data List / Gas Intake Control / Intake VVT Change Angle Bank 1.

   5. Read the Data List while performing the Active Test with the engine idling.

      GTS Operation Intake VVT Change Angle Bank 1 -100% to 100% Varies by 75°FR or higher
