LIGHTING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. Lighting system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

    2. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


      1. If a LED headlight system malfunctions, "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" is displayed on the multi-information display.

        • As the LED headlight system performs a self check when the engine switch is turned on (IG), even if the system returns to normal, "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" will be displayed on the multi-information display until the engine switch is turned off and then on (IG).
