PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Door Control Switch)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 (E) - 4 (CLS) Switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Switch on Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch.

    2. Inspect the illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the door control switch connector, and check that the door control switch LED illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch.
