      Component without harness connected

      (luggage door closer assembly)
      *b Full latch
      *c Half-latch
      *d Open latch

      Check the operation of the luggage door closer assembly.


      1. Set the luggage door closer assembly to the half-latch position.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the luggage door closer assembly connector and check that the luggage door closer assembly close operation functions smoothly as follows.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 8 (M+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (M-)

        		 Luggage compartment door lock half-latch → full latch

      3. Set the luggage door closer assembly to the full latch position.

      4. Apply battery voltage to the luggage door closer assembly connector, and check that the luggage door closer assembly open operation functions smoothly as follows.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (M-)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 8 (M+)

        		 Luggage compartment door lock full latch → open latch

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage door closer assembly.
