PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER) (w/ Memory)

   
   
   1.

      Check the operation of the slide motor.

      
      

      1. Check if the seat cushion moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Condition Operational Direction Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Seat cushion moves forward Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 Seat cushion moves backward

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat adjuster assembly (for driver).

   2.

      *a	Component without harness connected (Lifter Motor (Front Seat Adjuster Assembly (for Driver)))

      Check the operation of the lifter motor.

      
      

      1. Check if the seat cushion moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lifter motor connector terminals.

         for LHD Condition Operational Direction Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Seat cushion moves downward Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 Seat cushion moves upward
         for RHD Condition Operational Direction Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Seat cushion moves downward Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 Seat cushion moves upward

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat adjuster assembly (for driver).

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat adjuster assembly (for driver).
