  1. OPERATING CONDITION


    1. Eco Driving Indicator Light Operation


      1. Eco Driving Indicator Light can operate when all of the following conditions are met:


        • The engine switch is on (IG) and the engine is running.

        • The vehicle is being driven with the shift lever in D.

        • SPORT mode is not selected.

        • The vehicle is at a speed of about 130 km/h (81 mph) or below.

      2. The following table shows the operation of the Eco driving indicator light and Eco driving indicator zone display in different driving conditions:

        When any of the following conditions is met, operation is stopped.

    2. Multi-information Display


      1. Display Flow Function


        1. The multi-information display can be switched as shown in the flow chart below:

          *c If there are multiple display requests, items will be displayed in sequence.
          *d An item or display is selected by operating the steering pad switch assembly.

      2. Oil Maintenance Management Function (Models with Oil Maintenance Management Function)


        1. The oil maintenance management function will appear to inform the driver of maintenance requirements. A maintenance required message is displayed on the multi-information display.

        2. The ECM calculates the soot volume in the engine oil based on the engine operating condition.

        3. There are 2 types of warnings: one displays the remaining oil maintenance mileage and the other displays the warning message.

        4. The oil maintenance management functions as follows:

          Warning Method 1000 km or less 0 km or less
          Multi-information Display "Oil Maintenance Required Soon" "Oil Maintenance Required Visit Your Dealer"

        5. After the required maintenance has been performed, the accumulated vehicle driving distance memorized in the combination meter assembly should be reset to zero using the setting function (Oil Maintenance) displayed on the multi-information display.

          Tech Tips

          After initialization is complete, "The Data Has Been Reset" will be displayed on the multi-information display.

      3. Information Display Tab Operation


        • The information currently displayed can be switched using the RIGHT/LEFT switch on the steering pad switch assembly.

      5. Stop and Start System Information Mode Function (Models with Stop and Start System)


        • Stop and start system information shows vehicle information such as idling stop time and saved fuel.

        • The stop and start system information can be switched using the UP/DOWN switch on the steering pad switch assembly.

      7. Warning Mode Function


        • When a warning is necessary, the warning display interrupts the display in the multi-information display.

        • The master warning light may illuminate or blink and the buzzer in the combination meter assembly may sound depending on the item displayed on the multi-information display.
