LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) consists of a bus for each related body electrical system, and is used for communication between ECUs or switches.

    2. Signals transmitted via LIN can be sent to the CAN through LIN ECUs with a gateway function that are also connected to the CAN. However, the wiper system is not connected to the CAN.

    3. The LIN is used for the power window control system, sliding roof system, smart entry and start system, air conditioning system, and wiper system*.
