ROOF HEADLINING(for Wagon) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Standard Roof)

    1. B350134

      Pull the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.

    2. B211698

      Engage the 2 claws.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 5 clips.

    5. for LHD Front Pillar LH Side:

      1. Engage the 6 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    6. for RHD Front Pillar LH Side:

      1. Engage the 5 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    7. for Front Pillar RH Side:

      1. Engage the 3 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    8. for Rear Pillar RH Side:

      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Engage the guide.

      3. Connect the connector bracket with the bolt.

    9. w/ EC Mirror:

      1. Connect the connector.

    10. w/ Rain Sensor:

      1. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof)

    1. B350137

      Pull the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.

    2. Engage the guide.

    3. B211698

      Engage the 2 claws.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. Engage the 14 fasteners.

      Tip:

      Engage the fasteners from the front side of the roof headlining assembly.

    6. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 3 clips.

    7. for LHD Front Pillar LH Side:

      1. Engage the 6 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    8. for RHD Front Pillar LH Side:

      1. Engage the 5 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    9. for Front Pillar RH Side:

      1. Engage the 3 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    10. for Rear pillar LH Side:

      1. Connect the connector.

    11. for Rear Pillar RH Side:

      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Engage the guide.

      3. Connect the connector bracket with the bolt.

        7.0 N*m

    12. w/ EC Mirror:

      1. Connect the connector.

    13. w/ Rain Sensor:

      1. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL REAR ROOM PARTITION NET HOOK LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure for the front side and rear side.

    1. Engage the guide and claw.

    2. Install the rear room partition net hook LH with the screw.

    3. Close the cover.

  4. INSTALL REAR ROOM PARTITION NET HOOK RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Slide Switch Type)

  12. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor)

  13. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (w/ EC Mirror)

  14. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  15. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Install a new clip (A) to the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.

      B350128N01

    2. Engage the 2 claws and 4 clips.

    3. Install the roof side inner garnish assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  16. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Engage the clamp.

    2. Connect each connector.

    3. Engage the 7 claws and 4 clips, and install the deck trim side panel assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

    4. w/ Deck Board:

      1. Engage the 2 clips.

      2. Install the deck side trim box LH with the clip.

    5. Engage the guide.

    6. Install the luggage hold belt striker assembly with the bolt.

  17. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL BEZEL LH

    1. B350124

      Engage the 3 claws to install the reclining remote control bezel LH.

  18. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM HOOK (for LH Side)

    1. Engage the pin.

    2. Install the No. 2 deck side trim hook with the screw.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

  20. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly LH with the bolt.

  21. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL BEZEL RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM HOOK (for RH Side)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  25. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

      Align the alignment mark (light blue) on the weatherstrip with the flange on the vehicle body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

      Note:

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  39. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  40. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for RH Side)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  41. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

      Alignment Mark (White)

      Flange Position

      Align the alignment mark (white) on the weatherstrip with the flange on the vehicle body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

      Note:

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  42. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  43. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  44. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

    1. Engage the 2 guides and 4 clips to install the rear deck trim cover.

    2. Engage the 2 guides.

    3. Install the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies with the 2 bolts.

  49. INSTALL ROOM PARTITION NET ASSEMBLY (w/ Partition Net)

    1. Install the room partition net assembly.

  50. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the tonneau cover assembly.

  51. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer)

    1. Engage the 2 guides to install the deck floor box LH.

  52. INSTALL NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)

    1. Install the No. 3 deck board sub-assembly.

  53. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH

    1. Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Install the deck floor box RH with the bolt and clip.

  54. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)

    1. Install the No. 2 deck board sub-assembly.

  55. INSTALL REAR FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the rear floor mat assembly.

  56. INSTALL FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Deck Board)

    1. Install the front deck floor box.

  57. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)

    1. Install the deck board assembly.

  58. INSTALL DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)

    1. Install the deck board sub-assembly.
