IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 IGNITION COIL

      Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the 4 No. 1 ignition coil connectors.

      Remove the 4 bolts and 4 No. 1 ignition coils from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

      Note:

      • If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

      • Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

      14 mm Spark Plug Wrench

      Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench, remove the 4 spark plugs from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note:

      • If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

      • Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.
