REFRIGERANT LINE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

   1. for HFC-134a (R134a):

   2. for HFO-1234yf (R1234yf):

      Click here

2. REMOVE PIPING CLAMP

   1. 

      *1	Suction Pipe Sub-assembly
      *2	Liquid Tube Sub-assembly

      Install SST to the piping clamp as shown in the illustration.

   2.

      Push in

      Hold the liquid tube sub-assembly and suction pipe sub-assembly with each hand and push in SST with both thumbs.

      Note:

      Do not apply excessive force to the liquid tube sub-assembly or suction pipe sub-assembly as they may bend.

   3. 

      *1	Suction Pipe Sub-assembly
      *a	Stopper
      *b	Pull off

      Raise the stopper of SST and remove SST and the piping clamp together from the suction pipe sub-assembly.

   4. Remove the piping clamp from SST.

   5. Remove the liquid tube sub-assembly from the suction pipe sub-assembly.

   6. Remove the 2 O-rings from the liquid tube sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
