COMBUSTION TYPE POWER HEATER SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

Note:

The cause of problems (such as abnormal voltage, overheating, short circuits, component failure, etc.) can be checked by connecting the DTC tester and reading DTCs.

  1. DTC CHECK/CLEAR

    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Disconnect the A41 heater assembly connector.

    3. Connect connector A of the DTC tester to the vehicle wire harness.

    4. Connect connector B of the DTC tester to the heater assembly connector.

    5. Start the engine.

    6. Read the DTCs.

      1. Press the DTC call button to display 3-digit DTCs.

    7. Clear the DTCs.

      1. Press both memory clear buttons together for more than 2 seconds.

  2. DESCRIPTION OF DTC TESTER

    Tip:

    The DTC tester is able to store up to 5 DTCs in memory. If it is full, new data is written and the oldest DTCs are cleared.
