DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to the windshield wiper relay assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSEMBLY - AUXILIARY BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the L146 windshield wiper relay assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L146-2 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      L146-16 (WIG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L146-12 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
