CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.
When a power window regulator motor assembly is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it is necessary to perform initialization.
When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it is necessary to perform initialization. (w/ Sliding Roof System)
When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) or roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it is necessary to perform initialization. (w/ Panoramic Moon Roof System)
Before performing the inspection, check that DTC B1206, B1249, B1273, B2321, B2322, B2323, B2324 or B2329 is not output.
If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to Service Bulletin.
The vehicle battery supplies power to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the door control battery. Therefore, before proceeding with troubleshooting, perform an on-vehicle inspection and confirm that the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) power source circuit is normal.*

PROCEDURE
INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.
| *a | Component without harness connected (Instrument Panel Junction Block Assembly) |
- | - |
Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Tech Tips
This inspection is to check the LIN communication line in the instrument panel junction block assembly that connects the wire harness to the built-in main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
