CONSTRUCTION
A low friction rack shaft is used in order to achieve a steering operation feeling at the center position.
Steering rack bushes are used to mount the steering gear on the vehicle. Accordingly, the rigidity in the left and right directions has been optimized and the vertical rigidity and the rigidity in the forward and rearward directions have been enhanced to optimize compliance steering and eliminate vibration from the ground.
On 2WD PreRunner and 4WD models, a check valve is provided at the high pressure port in order to reduce the extent of shocks applied from the road surface.
