Cruise SET Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

  • When the ECM detects a cruise control switch ON signal from the cruise control switch, it sends it to the combination meter assembly through CAN communication. Then the cruise control SET indicator light turns on.

  • The cruise control SET indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.

PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (SET INDICATOR LIGHT)

    1. Select the Active Test, use the GTS to generate a control command, and then check that the combination meter operates (Click here).

    GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (-SET SWITCH)

    1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the SET indicator light (Click here).
