DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to the windshield wiper relay assembly.

Note:

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - IG CIRCUIT AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the E95 windshield wiper relay assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      E95-2 (IG) - Body ground

      Ignition switch ON

      11 to 14 V

      E95-16 (WIG) - Body ground

      Ignition switch ON

      11 to 14 V

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      E95-12 (E) - Body ground

      Below 1 Ω
