FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the RH side.


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

  2. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH (for Double Cab)


    1. A01E2BWE01

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 5 claws and remove the cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Double Cab)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01DW5OE01

      Pull the inner belts out from the bottom of the seat cushion.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. w/ Occupant detection sensor:

      Disconnect the connector under the seat.

    4. Remove the seat.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
