FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP INSTALLATION

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      Paint Mark

      Mark Position

      Align the paint mark on the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH with the mark position on the vehicle and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

      Note:

      • Always align the paint mark when installing the part. If the paint mark position is out of place, water leaks may occur.

      • After the installation, check that the corners are properly installed.

      Tip:

      To easily install the weatherstrip, first install the area with the paint mark as shown in the illustration. Then install the part toward the corners and push any excess length into the corners.
