ECM INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ECM BRACKET

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 claws, and install a new ECM bracket to the ECM.

      Note

      
      

      • After attaching the ECM bracket to the ECM, do not remove the ECM bracket.

      • If the ECM bracket is attached to the ECM in the incorrect direction, replace the ECM bracket with a new one.

2. INSTALL ECM

   Note

   When replacing the ECM, do not use ECM with different specifications.

   
   

   1. Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the 4 connectors to the ECM.

      Note

      Be sure to securely connect the connectors.

3. INSTALL CONTROL UNIT RELAY ASSEMBLY (w/o Entry and Start System)

4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch)

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (w/o Airbag Cut Off Switch)

   Click here

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
