DESCRIPTION
The door control relay assembly controls the power slide door and activates the slide door motor unit RH. During motor operation, the power slide door sensor assembly RH resistance will change when it comes in contact with an object. When the change in resistance is detected, the door control relay assembly will determine that a jammed object is present.
The door control relay assembly also uses a pulse sensor to detect changes in the door's speed. If the door speed changes, the door control relay assembly that a jammed object is present in the direction the power slide door is moving. When the power slide door is closing and a jammed object is detected, the door returns to the fully open position. When the power slide door is opening and a jammed object is detected, the door stops opening at the position where the jammed object was detected.
When the closer system is operating and a jammed object is detected, the closer system operation stops and the slide door will not fully close.
