    1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked When the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Map Light Assembly (Front Room Light)

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Room Light)
      Electrical Key Transmitter Sub-assembly-linked When any door is unlocked using the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Map Light Assembly (Front Room Light)

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Room Light)
      Door Open-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Map Light Assembly (Front Room Light)

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Room Light)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Fotwell Light)*1
      Door Close-linked When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off.*2

      Door Lock-linked When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.*3

      • Power Switch Illumination

      Power Source-linked When the power switch is changed from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn off.*2

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Room Light)
      When the power switch is changed from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off, the lights turn on.
      Dimmer When the shift lever is not in P, the brightness dimmed.

      • No.1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Footwell Light)*1
      Battery Saving When no changes occur in the condition of the doors for 20 minutes, these lights turn off.

      Interior Light Auto Cut When no changes occur in the condition of the lights switches on for 20 minutes, these lights turn off.

      Tech Tips

      *3: Models with no. 1 interior illumination light assembly (fotwell light)

      *2: Illuminates for approximately 15 seconds, fades out over approximately 0.9 seconds and goes off. Illumination time can be selected from 15, 30 and 7.5 seconds using the customization function.

      *3: Stops the illumination, starts to fade out immediately (fades out over approximately 0.9 seconds) and goes off.
