DESCRIPTION

When an incorrect ECM, skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly)*1, skid control ECU assembly*2, steering sensor or VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU)*3 is installed after the assist map has been written to the power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly), DTC C1582 is stored because the information stored in the power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly) does not match the vehicle specifications.

Note

If the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing and torque sensor zero point calibration.

  2. CHECK RELATED PART


    1. Check if the part below has been replaced with an incorrect part in the past.

    2. When DTC C1582 is output and parts have not been exchanged, replace the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly as it may have an internal malfunction.

      Note

      If the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing.
