Note:Before starting this operation, make sure that the guide rails are not deformed and there is no foreign matter on the guide rails.
When the sliding roof canvas sub-assembly is adjusted or removed/installed, or the sliding roof control ECU assembly or slide roof motor assembly is replaced, the sliding roof control ECU assembly must be initialized. If initialization is not performed, the auto operation function may not operate, or the canvas top may move in reverse or become misaligned.
During initialization, do not apply a physical shock, such as opening/closing a door, to the vehicle and do not perform any electrical operations.
Make sure not to turn the ignition switch ON or off during initialization.
Tip:If the battery has been replaced, it is not necessary to initialize the sliding roof control ECU assembly.
