FRONT STABILIZER BAR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the nut and the stabilizer link assembly LH from the front shock absorber with coil spring.

      Tip:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  3. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE

    1. Remove the 8 bolts and front suspension member brace from the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR

    1. C154895

      Remove the front stabilizer bar from the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING LH

    1. C153812

      Remove the front stabilizer bar bushing LH from the front stabilizer bar.

  8. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
