Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (VEHICLE NOT INVOLVED IN COLLISION)

CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (VEHICLE INVOLVED IN COLLISION AND AIRBAG HAS NOT DEPLOYED)

When the pillar of the vehicle or the surrounding area is damaged, check if there is any damage to the side airbag sensor assembly. If there are any defects as mentioned below, replace the side airbag sensor assembly with a new one:
Cracks, dents or chips on the sensor housing.
Cracks or other damage to the connector.
Peeling off of the label or damage to the serial number.
CAUTION:
For removal and installation of the side airbag sensor assembly, be sure to follow the correct procedure.
CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (VEHICLE INVOLVED IN COLLISION AND AIRBAG IS DEPLOYED)
When airbags have deployed as the result of a collision, be certain to replace all side airbag sensor assembly in the damaged area (anywhere in need of repair).
Furthermore, it is also necessary to replace any side airbag sensor assembly in undamaged areas that have registered a major collision, or which exhibit any of the following abnormalities:
Cracks, dents or chips on the sensor housing.
Cracks or other damage to the connector.
Peeling off of the label or damage to the serial number.
